Michael (Pat) Singer, 56, of Painesville, Ohio, died March 30, 1987, in Lake Hospital, Painesville. Born Sept. 12, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of John G. Singer of Coral Springs, Fla., and the late Mary (Finnegan) Singer. Survived by his widow, Marcella (Uphold); these children: Michael Jr., Kent, Ohio; Timothy, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Mrs. Kathleen Martin, Hopewell, Ohio; Mrs. Virginia Cannon, South Euclid, Ohio; Sister Marie Beraid, Little Sisters of the Poor, LaTour, France; Mrs. Maureen Kavon, Madonna, Calif.; 10 grandchildren. He was a brother of Tom of Parma, Ohio. He was owner and operator of the North Post Printing Co. of Painesville; member of the Painesville Lions Club. Family will receive friends Saturday noon to 1 p.m. at the St. Paul Wilhelm United Church of Christ. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Carl Mitchell officiating. Interment, church cemetery, under direction of Leckemby Funeral Home. The family suggests expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society.
