Michael G. Montgomery, 47, of Chelsea died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from a tree cutting accident. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 3 at the Christ United Methodist Church by Rev. Steven Hubbell. He will be cremated following the service. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at the Hrabak Funeral Home and after 9:00 AM Saturday at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy; daughters Rachel and Danielle Montgomery at home; father Errol (Martha) Montgomery of Swisher; mother Marilyn Montgomery of Alburnett; brother David Montgomery of Iowa City; sister Sharon (Jim) Schulte of Alburnett; parents-in-law Sharon and David Ward of Cedar Rapids; brothers-in-law, Rich Lueders of Cedar Rapids, Jon (Diana) Ward of Cedar Rapids, Jim (Laurie) Ward of Cannonburg, PA; sisters-in-law Julie Ryan of Ankeny, Marcie Sawyer of Dittmer, MO; also twenty-three nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews, also numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial fund has been established for his daughters.
