Bio: Michael Bash enlisted in the 64th PA volunteers 4th PA cavalry company C on April 9th 1864. He was wounded and captured on July 30th 1864 at the battle of second swamp (also called Warwick swamp) in Virginia near Cold Harbor. He was sent to Richmond's Libby prison then transferred to the prison camp at Salisbury North Carolina. He was exchanged on February 22, 1865. He was promoted to Corporal on May 1, 1865. He was mustered out with his company on July 1, 1865.
