(2) at Romsey, 9 March 1702/3, Martha (_____) Baverstock. The family is often mentioned in Samuel Sewall's Diary.

"John Storke of Rumsey in the county of Sou!h[hamp]ton in the Kingdom of England, clothier, & Mercy his wife, the daughter of Mr. Thomas Nelson late of Rowly, deceased," sold to "Francis Peabody Senior, Robert Aimes. John Peabody Senior, William Peabody, John Hovey Senior, all of Rowley & Topsfield or near thereabouts, yeoman. … all that parcel or tract of land called Mr. Nelson's village land containing two thousand acres with fourscore acres of meadow thereto belonging … in the bounds of Rowley aforesaid or Rowley Village near Topsfield or near abouts" [ELR 7:142].
