On July 27, 2010 Melva finally lost her long battle with chronic lung disease and she entered into God's Eternal Kingdom. Born in McKeesport, PA she was residing in Mesa, AZ at the time of her death. Melva was an outgoing person, who loved to laugh, with a passion for life that was contagious. Melva also had a tender and kind side that completed her in totality. Melva enjoyed photography, ceramics, floral designing, cooking, board games, and spending time on-line chatting. Melva will be missed dearly by both family and friends. Melva is preceded in death by her Father Melvin and Mother Jane. She is survived by her current Husband Rich, Sisters Denise Richardson and Debra Maldonado, and her three sons David, Jerry, and Mathew, along with six grandchildren - David, Alyssa, Brianna, Oliver, Logan, and Jessica.
Sonoran Sky's Mortuary - Mesa, AZ is handling the initial arrangements and at the families' request, once all ashes have been shipped/received, graveside services will be held in Hollywood, Florida. Fred Hunter Memorial Services, 6301 Taft, Street Hollywood, Florida 1-954-633-2715 will be in charge of the final arrangements once dates and times have been determined.
