Cummings, Melda Jane (Porter) At Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB, January 30, 2002, Melda Jane (Porter) Cummings, widow of Willard Cummings, of St. Stephen, NB. Daughter of the late George and May (Dow) Lutwick of Dow Settlement NB. Survived by three daughters, Thelma Sabean, McDonalds Point, NB, Leona (Art) Arsenault, St. Stephen, NB, Shirley (Paul) Smith, St. Stephen, NB, four sons, Ronald (Kathryn) Porter, Peterborough ON., Arnold (Dolores) Porter, St. Stephen, NB, Roger (Cheryl) Porter, Fredericton, NB., Daryl Porter, Calgary AB., eighteen grandchildren, one great, great grandchild, one sister, Myra Stevens, St. Stephen, NB., several neices and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers and four sisters. Resting at the S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main St. St. Stephen, NB from where funeral services will be held on Friday Feb. 1, 2002 at 2 PM with Rev. Buck Booker officiating. Internment at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the home on Thursday January 31, 2002 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
