WILL: "Be it remembered that I Melchior Weidemier of Tinicum Township, in the county of Bucks & State of Pennsylvania, being weak in Body. but of sound mind and memory calling to mind the uncertainty of time in this life, do think proper to make this my last will & Testament in manner following (viz) First, it is my will that all of my Just debts & funeral expenses be fully paid and discharged, but of my Estate by my Executors herein after names as soon after my decease as the same can conveniently be done. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary the Back Room in the first story of my house wherein I now dwell, the front Room in the secont Story; Kitchen & Cellar as she may Choose [previous word underlined] or desire to occupy and all such of my household goods and Kitchen furniture as she may choose to Keep for her use my tin plate stove and clock, One Cow and two Sheep the Choice of my stock to be fed through the winter and pastured in the summer as is usueal [previous word underlined] And that She shall have privilede to take of apples and Peaches growing on my premises and plant and sow of my garden so much as she may choose [previous word underlined]. And further it is my will that my son Jacob Weidemeier is to give unto my beloved wife all & everything she shall be in want of during her lifetime. And in Case he use her not well he shall pay her eight Dollars in gold or silver lawfull Money of Pennsylvania Monthly of every Month during her lifetime. And in Case of sickness of my beloved wife, he shall Keep her a sufficient Nurse who takes care of her, sufficient firewood he shall bring to the Door cut of a proper length for her stove & fireplace at all times when she shall request the same to be done. I give and bequeath to my son Jacob the windmill, now in the Barn my culling=box and cow chains in the stables; and after [two words I can't read] of my said Son Jacob (one word I can't read] I give and devise all that my Messuage & tract of land heretofore willed to my son Jacob during his natural life unto my Grandson Jacob Weidemier the son of my son Jacob to hold to him my said Grandson, his heirs & assigns forever; but if my son Jacob should die before my said Grandson arrives at the age of twenty one the surviving Executor is to take charge of the afore mentioned tract of land untill my said grandson comes of age and the profits, thereof or part thereof from the Necessarys of my beloved wife, and the remainder to my grandChildren of my son Jacob, and if my grandson Jacob should die without haveing any lawfull heirs then the said premises shall come to my Grand Children the Children of my son Jacob, which said premises aforesaid. I value to my Grandson Jacob Weidemeier, at the sum of Four Thousand Dollars, Two Thousand One hundred and thirty three Dollars & Thirty Cents of which sum I give and bequeath unto my other Grand Children the Children of my son Jacob to be Equilly [previous word underlined] divided between them that shall be living at the time herein after directed. My said grandson Jacob Weidemeir shall pay in the manner & order following (viz) At the expiration of one year after the decease of my son Jacob my said Grandson Jacob shall pay one hundred & thirty three dollars and thirty three cents unto my other above mentioned Grand Children if any part or all of them are of age; and in case there is none of them of age then he is to pay the Instalments unto my surviving Executors who is to pay them their respective Shares as they become of age, and the remainder at fifteen Equill [previous word underlined] Annual payments from time to time without Interest. I give & bequeath unto my daughter Mary the sum of fifty pounds, which together with what I gave her at her marriage I Consider shall be in full for her services rendered to me after she became of Age which said sum my Executors shall pay her Six Months after my death. [previous word underlined] And at the expiration of one year after my decease my Executors are to pay to my daughter Mary & Elizabeth the sum of One hundred pounds share & share alike, and so on untill the whole of the Seven hundred pounds are paid to my two Daughers Mary & Elizabeth. And it is my will that all moneys remaining in the hands of my Executors no heretofore willed be divided among my Children Equilly. [previous word underlined] And further it is my will that all the rest residue & remainder of my personal property goods & Chattels whatsoever the same shall be left in the hands of my beloved wife to dispose of as she thinks proper. And lastly I do nominate, constitute, & appoint my son in law David White and my son Jacob Weidemeier to be my Executors of this my last Will & Testament hereby revoking all other wills by me heretofore made, and declaring this my last Will & Testament & no other.
