Max E. Schimmel, 56, Rt. 7, Frankfort,
died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, April 3,
1978, in Home Hospital, Lafayette,
following a heart attack.
Born July 12,1921, in Clinton County,
he was the son of Manson and Goldie
Howe Schimmel, both deceased. He
was married Dec. 10, 1940, to Ruth
Laughner, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Edward
Schimmel, Burlington; a daughter;
four grandchildren and three sisters.
Services were Thursday in Goodwin
Funeral Home, Frankfort with the Rev.
Harley Melton officiating. Burial was
in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
