Mrs Mavis Sharpe Coble, 42, Burlington, Route 6, died at her home yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock after two weeks of critical illness.

She was the wife of Vaughn R Coble, the daughter of Lon M Sharpe and Mrs Ella Rich Sharpe, and was a member of the Belmont Methodist Church.

Surviving are the husband, a daughter, Miss Mildred Coble of the home; the mother, Mrs Ella R Sharpe, Burlington, Route 6, and a sister, Mrs Frank Welch, Bennett.

Funeral services for Mrs Coble will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Belmont Methodist Church, with Rev R Z Newton, pastor of the church, in charge of the service. He will be assisted by Rev Wayne Curtis, pastor of the Belmont Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Belmont Methodist Church Cemetery.

The body was taken to the residence at Belmont late this afternoon and will lie in state at Belmont Methodist Church from 3:30 until 4 p.m. tomorrow.
