Her father was John D'Acton, born abt 1278 at Iron Acton, and her mother was Helen, born about 1240(?) also from Iron Acton.She was the eventual heir of Sir John, who was Sher Hereford (1294 - 1299) Sheriff of Shropshire and Staffordshire (1304 and 1305) Knight of the Shire of Hereford 1300 and 1301 and of Gloucester (1301)
