FREEMAN: "Mathew Hitchcock" appears in the lists of New Haven freemen of 4 June 1639 and 1 July 1644 [NHCR 1:17, 138].

ASSOCIATIONS: Matthew Hitchcock was a brother of Edward Hitchcock {1642, New Haven}. … There is no evidence one way or another whether Luke Hitchcock of New Haven and Wethersfield was a third brother.
