Hi Vickie: The Woods' history of Albemarle County has several errors in it. One is cited by you...that Elizabeth Farrah Suddarth married JOHN Dettor. NOPE.....she married Matthias and I have the marriage record to prove it. They are my direct ancestors, and among my favorites, so I have been particularly careful. I don't know what Woods was thinking when he wrote that...or made some of the other mistakes he did. Of course the Suddarth line from William is my direct line too. As to proof of the older line of Suddarths....you'll have to get in touch with me directly. This family has been researched for many, many years and there is a lot of data floating around, so you aren't the first to try to figure out the connections. I'll be happy to share some files with you that might make things clear to you, but can't do that in this forum....just too much.
