George and Matilda lived in Arnoldsburg until he died, but her obit said she was from Grantsville and she died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Sarah Anderson, in Spencer, WV. MATILDA J. LYNCH KINGSBURY Calhoun Chronicle 1951 Services Monday For Mrs. Matilda Kingsbury Mrs. Matilda J. Kingsbury, 80, of Grantsville, wife of the late George J. Kingsbury, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sarah Anderson in Spencer. Daughter of the late George and Jemima Knotts Lynch, she has been a member of the Stoney Point Methodist church in Calhoun county since early childhood. Surviving are one son, Cleo C. Kingsbury, Grantsville; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Smith, Sandyville and Mrs. Anderson, Spencer; and three step-children, J. A. Kingsbury, Hollaway, O., Homer Kingsbury, Canal Fulton, O., and Mrs. Addie Parsons, Gallapolis, O. One son, Charles, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Stoney Point Methodist church with the Rev. Charles Wilkinson and the Rev. Glendon McKee officiating.
