Mary Shufflebarger provided an affidavit for her brother-in-law, Jacob Anderson (1756-1842), for his Revolutionary War Service Pension Application, as follows:
- Mary Shufflebarger, age 85, stated in 1857 that she was sister of Christiana & in 1843 Capt. Henry Wyser, brother of Christiana, age 83 & died in 1844; in 1843 Henry Wyser Jr. was Justice of the Peace in Pulaski County, Virginia & was nephew of Christiana, he being age 79 in 1857.

- (NOTE: appears to contain conflicting information, Mary Margaret Wysor could not have been married and have children in two marriages at the same time. Marriage records in Montgomery County, Virginia have "Peggy" Wiser marrying James Cecil; and "Mary Wizwer" marrying Elias Shofflebarger, obviously two different daughters of Adam Wysor.).

When Mary Wysor was born on October 2, 1771, her father, Adam, was 42, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 39. She married Elias ShuffleBarger on September 3, 1791, in Montgomery, Virginia. They had ten children in 36 years. She died on March 27, 1861, in Dublin, Virginia, having lived a long life of 89 years.[1]
