    … By deed, dated 14 Feb., 1715-16, (James3 Chute) conveys his homestead of 90 acres, bought of Joseph Jewett … to his son, James Chute, to enjoy one-half at once and the other half not "untill my death and the death of his mother" (Essex Deeds, 30:168). … No record of the death of James Chute nor of the death of his wife, Mary, is found.
