Patricia Ash writes in 30 Jul 2007 at http://genforum.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/print.cgi?reniff::39.html: "I am the County Coordinator for Loup County, Nebraska under the NEGenWeb and have a book titled, Kent 1874-1978, which has two Reniff histories.1) Philo and Mary Reniff - - Bible records in that article record that Philo was the son of Mowry Reniff, and Mary (Ball) Reniff, chilfen, Mary, Eunice, and Abisha.2) Horance and ALMEDA ETTA Reniff - - he was the son of Philo and Mary (Wickson/Wixson) Reniff."

It is noted that the marriage record transcribed at familysearch.org gives Horance's parents as Philo Reniff and Mary BIXON.
