Beverly: This was my "Grandma Hanker" when I was a small child. I remember she dipped snuff. She wore her grey hair in a bun & when she took it down at night it was REALLY long. Her house on Warrior River Rd in Hueytown was really old, & it was always cold in winter. When my brother John & I would spend the night our beds would be heated up with a flatiron & then piled up with pounds of blankets. If we had to go to the bathroom we had to go out on the back porch & then into the bathroom (it was attached, & did have a real flush toilet).
