From the Owingsville Outlook, Thursday, December 2, 1897
On Thanksgiving Day, November 25th, 1897, Jefferson Dawson Jr. and Mary Warner were married at Phoenix Hotel, Lexington by Rev Charles Evans attended by William Arnold of Flat Creek, a nephew of the groom and Miss Ollie Cannon, cousin of the bride. He is the second son of Col. Jefferson Dawson of west of town. She is the only daughter of Jacob Warner of near town.
