Outlook 26 Oct 1893 Sorrell-Warner Allen B., son of Nathan Sorrell, of lower Flat Creek, will be married to-day (Thursday) at the home of the bride's parents to Miss Elize, youngest daughter of Stephen M. Warner, of Reynoldsville. They will be given a reception at the home of the bridegroom's parents this evening. The young man is a model in filial devotion , industry and correct habits. He belongs in the front ranks of that most worthy class who by their solid virtues give an enduring foundation to the citizenship of our great nation. The bride is a lovely young lady, bright and winsome. She possesses those qualities of head and heart that will brighten the home and make their married life a happy, useful and prosperous existence. May fortune be unsparing of her bounty to them.


March 5, 1896 Mrs. Mary E. Sorrell died of consumption last Friday, and was interred at the Warner Graveyard just west of town, on Saturday. The procession of mourners was a large one, the deceased having a large number of relatives and friends. The burial casket was a very handsome one of white, trimmed with silver fringe and tassels.
