Identity

A 1989 article in The American Genealogist[2] provides strong evidence (see, in particular, the paragraph starting "At this point, ..." on page 198) that she was not the daughter of John Cooper and Wilbroe Griggs, as was previously believed based on the interpretation of "son-in-law" in the modern sense rather than as "step-son" as was commonly meant in the 17th century.
