- In the burial registers, "Mary Hopkin" is identified as a widow of Southwood within Repton parish. This will be the house Francis Hopkins acquired the lease of after his father's death, ultimately from the owners, the Thackers of Repton. She will be thus be the widow of Francis. (Francis was named as Francys Hopkin in the same registers, so the change by the parish clerk from Hopkins to Hopkin is consistent.)
