Valuation of estate of Mary Segars deceased now in hands of James Lake

There is on the land a log dwelling house 18 ft by 20 in good repair also a small out house part finished 14 ft by 14
a corn house 14 ft by 7 in tolerable good repair
a small stable very bad order
an apple orchard of 75 trees
it is supposed there is from 35-40 acres of cleared land enclosed with a tolerable good fence the residue of the land is in woods but very indifferently timbered, the whole track or tracks [sic] to contain 75 acres being part of two Tracks called Lumventure and Stone Range

who paid £1000 common money for
Part of that Tract of Land called Stoney Range on the west side of Elk River
Beginning a a marked apple tree standing in a field on the Division line between Jacob Lum [& me] and from thence Running west 172 perches then North 68 and 1/2 deg East 56 perches then East south East 170 perches then South West to the place of Beginning fifty-five perches
Containing 75 acres more or less
Being the whole of Michael Lums part of that tract of land originally granted and pattented to Johanneas Arrant, Michael Lum, and Peter Boyer as will appear by a certificate of survey in the Land Office Bearing date 28 Aug 1751
