Many compilers list her as Mary Horton, daughter of Thomas Horton and Mary Eddy. However, it appears that she was a widow, and that Horton was her previous married name (supported by Vital Records of Job's marriage). Even if Horton were her maiden name, the dates are not correct for her being the daughter of Thomas Horton and Mary Eddy.

She was not Mary Eddy the widow of Thomas Horton, because Mary Eddy was still married to Thomas Horton when the Tyler children were born.
