State of Missouri, County of Jackson, §§.
Samuel D. Lucas, Clerk of the County Court within and for the county aforesaid. To all men do make these presents shall come greeting. Know ye that where Jane Toomy, late of said county of Jackson, died intestate as is suggested and John Watson, having g___ given bond with satisfactory security and complied with the regulations of the law. I do by these presents give and grant unto the said John Watson full power and authority to administer all and singular the goods and chattles lands and tenement rights and credits of said deceased and to ask demand require and secure all names of debts due and owing to said deceased and duly to dispose of the same according to law and lastly I do appoint the said John Watson administrator of all and singular the goods and chattles land and tenements rights and credits of the deceased said Jane Toomy deceased and faithfully to administer according to law.
In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix the seal of said court at office in Independence the 6th day of May D.C. 1844
