In 1940 Mary Cecilia was 55 years old. She died in 1948 so I am not sure why she would want a birth record drawn up at that age. She was probably working as a Nun in St. Ann's Hospital in Duluth at that time.

She said she had great happiness of making her First Holy Communion on July 7, 1897 and on August 14 of that same year was confirmed in Saint Ann's Church at Harrisville. I have a letter from the Diocese of Gaylord and a copy of the record was dated September 22.
