    Mary Ruth Walker, 82, Henderson, passed away at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Methodist Hospital.
    She was a sales clerk at Alles Bros. Furniture Company, retiring in 2005 after 27 years. She was a member of Tilden Baptist Church in Tilden, Ky.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Ermin and Joiner Tapp; and her brother, Billy Arnold Tapp.
    Survivors include her husband of 64 years, D. W. Walker; and several cousins.
    Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Revs. Greg Duncan and Robert Fulcher will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Webster Co.
    Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
    Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Tilden Baptist Church in Tilden.
