Her father, Robert Stoddard (Studdert) of Meeks Run, Monn Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania arrived before 1809 and died there 28 June 1829. His birth is reputed as about 1765 in Enniskillen, Ireland. Her mother was Mary Seaton (spelling ? ); birth about 1770 and death 10 September 1824. 7 children were born from the marriage; Nancy, Martha, John, Mary, Robert, Maria, and Elizabeth.
