Greensboro News & Record Date: April 8, 1990 Swanora Starr Wood

GRAHAM - Mrs.. Swanora Starr Wood, 69, of 6003 Lindley Mill Road died Saturday [04-07-1990] at her home.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

An Alamance County native, she was a homemaker and a member of the Snow Camp Homemakers Extension Club.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs.. Linda Johnson of Graham; sons, Joe L. Wood, Steven A. Wood, both of Graham; sisters, Mrs.. Aylease Bowman, Mrs.. Betsy McPherson, both of Graham, Mrs.. LaRue Benson of Burlington; brother, John M. Starr of Greensboro; two grandchildren.

The family will be at Rich & Thompson Mortuary 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Alamance County, 1713 Edgewood Ave., Burlington, N.C. 27215.
