Mary was the daughter of Henry Sprenkle & Catharina.
She married twice:
(1) Johann Casper "Casper" Walper on 3 Jun 1789 in Berkeley Co., VA (now WV)
(2) Joseph Engel, after Casper's death in 1815.
Mary is buried at Walper Burial Ground, Walper's Crossroads, Jefferson Co., WV. This is a small family cemetery with six stones in the far back yard of the Walper house, near the ruins of the old barn.
Mary's tombstone reads: "Mary Engle wife of Joseph Engle and relic of Casper Walper and daughter of Henry Sprenkle departed this life October 8th 1846 in the 84th year of her age."
