    Mary was the wife of William Graham and the mother of Eliza Jane Graham and Mary Shields Graham. Upon her death, William sent his young daughters (ages 11 & 8) to live with their uncle, Dr. Samuel Shields. Eliza married Franklin William Taylor of Shields Station in Grainger County and they had twelve children together.
