Mary Chew, 91, of Hunker, formerly of Jeannette, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, in Easy Living Estates. Born Aug. 29, 1921, in Jeannette, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Praska (Falatovich) Seber. Prior to retirement, she was employed at Royers and K-Mart. She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Jeannette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Chew in 1994; three sisters, Anna, Kathleen and Sabrina Seber; three brothers, John, Frank and Steve Seber; and a son-in-law, Gerry Altman. She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Altman, of Pleasant Unity, and Patricia Garvin and her husband, Richard, of Martinsburg; grandchildren, Connee Brinker and her husband, Chris, of Scottdale, Eric Altman and his wife, Kathleen, of Jeannette, Ian Morris and his wife, Amanda, of West Virginia, and Katelyn Rine and her husband, Josh, of Ohio; great-grandchildren, Josh and Hunter Brinker, Josh Altman, Isaiah Morris and Macy Rine; a sister-in-law and very special friend, Jane Henry, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to celebrate MaryQQQs life from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the McCLURE and JOBE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 112 N. Second St., Jeannette. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Evangelical Lutheran Church of Holy Trinity, Jeannette. Everyone please meet at the church. Interment will follow in Westmoreland Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
