Mother Lizzie (Elizabeth) Ruhl, Father Henry (Heinrich) Ruhl; Brother: came to the United States with a Hessian Battalion and fought in the Civil War and then stayed in the U.S. Sister: Elizabeth who lived in Columbus; Mary lived at 609 Mohawk, German Village, Columbus, Ohio.[1]
