    Thursday April 17, 1924
    We are indeed sorry to report the death of Mrs. B.F. Parker, who died at her home Saturday night after a few day's illness of pneumonia. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church Sundayat 3 o'clock by her pastor, Rev. A.Y. Old. Interment in the City Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, two sons Blackstone Parker and Ernest Gray five grand-children Emma Mae, Erine Parker , and Ben Anderson ,Jim Ernest,Charles Darnell Parker and several sisters and brothers."
