    Dear Pat,
Thank you for the documents you sent. We will put them with the other one and save them, who knows who will need them later. Dad doesn’t know grandpa Williams’ mothers’ maiden name. Dad thinks the “L” stands for Littleton. Dad says he thinks that is the Roberts’ family. Mary Jane (Roberts) Williams had a brother named George Roberts. He had a lot of money. I guess he was very stuck up. Dad says he remembers his mothers’ name being Ridonia. Aunt Tempe never lived in Oklahoma as far as he knew. Dad said he remembers Granny Williams telling him about her watching the Civil War from her Porch. She could see the Yankees sweeping through the fields looking for the southern soldiers hiding. She said it was awful. I wish you could come down and visit with Dad. He could tell you so much.
    Sincerely, Twila
