Jonathan Bigelow m. (2) 29 Jan 1742 Mary Rice of Sudbury. Her will dated 8 May 1777, proved 1780, mentions her sister, widow Hannah Stone of Sudbury, and grandson John Newton Parmenter [son of Jonathan's daughter Elizabeth by his first wife].
- ↑ Note: Source:Ward, Andrew Henshaw. Genealogical History of the Rice Family : Descendants of Deacon Edmund Rice, p. 25, does not show the marriage to Jonathan Bigelow for this Mary. The will of Ephraim Rice was dated 20 Oct 1732, and named his daughters Mary and Hannah Rice, both unmarried. But Hannah married 1735 John Barber (Sudbury VRs, p. 258), and m. (2) 1762 Deacon Adams Stone (Sudbury VRs, p. 272), who died bef 30 Jun 1772 when his will was probated (Source:Bartlett, J. Gardner. Simon Stone Genealogy, p. 83), which would make her the widow Hannah Stone mentioned in Mary's 1777 will, and which shows that Jonathan Bigelow's wife was the daughter of Ephraim Rice and Hannah Livermore.
