Mary Ann Pratt was baptised on 29th March 1840 at Baldock in Hertfordshire, daughter of Mary Ann Pratt, formerly Moles, and her husband Joseph Pratt.

Mary's mother died some time between 1842 and 1851. Mary appears in the 1851 census with her widowed father and siblings at Norton End in Baldock. She was working as a straw plaiter.

Mary has yet to be researched after 1851.
