    1. Mary Poor born abt 1740 Goochland County, VA.[7]; died _______; married _________ Thomas [18]

[Some researchers have this Mary Poor, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Mosely) Poor, marrying Zachariah Williams in on 20 November 1755 in Goochland County, VA (Douglas Register). Assuming the 1740 birth year is correct, then this Mary Poor would have been 15 years old. It makes more sense that it was this Mary's aunt Mary Poor born abt. 1727, daughter of Thomas and Susannah (Estes) Poor, who married Zachariah Poor. This seems to be born out by Abraham Poor (son of Thomas and Susannah (Estes) Poor appearing as a witness in 1759 for Zachariah Williams & wife Mary. And in 1765 acting as security for Mary Williams in Goochland County VA. court records.]
