Graveside services for Mary Elizabeth Pickering Huntsman, 87, of Fairfield Glade, who passed away Oct. 7, 1998 in Greeneville West Health Care Center, Greeneville, TN, are scheduled today, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. in Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Greeneville.
She was born April 14, 1911 in Virginia, the daughter of Walter and Letitia Pickering.
Mrs. Huntsman was retired from the Oak Ridge Nuclear Plant, and was a member of the Knoxville chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her sisters, Thelma Fallon of Lake City, FL, and Catherine Salkaukas of Greeneville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Louise Pickering of Colorado Springs, CO, and Douglas and Verda Pickering of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Huntsman; parents, Walter and Letitia Pickering; brothers, Robert Pickering and Charles Pickering; and sisters, Maude Williams and Grace Begley. Pallbearers were her nephews and great-nephews.
