    Mary Pearce, d/o Ensign John Pearce and Mary Tallman, m John Reed, Jr. They had 12 children b. between Nov. 19, 1690, and Sept. 27, 1715. died 25 Aug 1735.
    [Note: this death date is found on p. 25 of Freetown records and belongs to "Susanna Read the wife of John Read the second", so certainly not Mary who death is recorded in 1726. Perhaps a different John Read (John Read m. 1709 Susanna Round in Swansea), or a second wife (no such marriage found)?]
