[Note: we follow Source:Leonard, Ermina Newton. Newton Genealogy, p. 503, in applying this death date to the first daughter Mary. However, there is clearly an inconsistency and the explanation is not known, since this death is after the birth of the second Mary. Most likely one or other of the dates is off by a year. Less likely, this death applies to the second Mary, implying there were three Marys, since we know one lived to adulthood.]
