On 11 August 1688 she was mentioned as daughter Mary Thayer in the will of Henry Neal of Braintree.

    She died July 1724.  The church record says that she "had been under distraction more than 25 years, and was in the woods without any food for mankind fifty three days, she was found in a wilderness swamp in a very weal and sad condition, and died soon after."
