According to Anderson's Great Migration, {2:585), Mary Milbury married "by about 1683" James Freethy, son of William Freethy, based on the marriage of their eldest known child by 1703. Mary is the daughter of Henry Milbury, who in his will of 10 June 1695, leaves a bequest to her as Mary Blacklidge (citing Maine Wills, 108-10). "[O]n 8 September 1726, 'Mary Blackledge of York..., widow,' for natural love and affection, deeded land to 'my well beloved son Joseph Freethy of said York, yeoman (citing York Deeds 12:55 and NEHGR 148:36-38)."
