    QUAY 3 "...Mrs Jeremiah Clarke...died a peaceful and happy death ...on March the sixteenth at the age of eighty-seven years. She came to Canada in 1842 from the County Leitrim, Ireland accompanied by her hu sband and infant son, she being only 18 years of age. A while after their arrival they took up land at Uptergrove and in 1862 death took her husband by accident....She lived her whole life in the ol d home, with her son Patrick.
    Internment took place on the eighteenth at St. Columbkill's church, Uptergrove..."
