Lived to be the oldest person in Ireland, aged 108. A fluent Gaelic speaker. Her children were known by names which included her s. eg: Tom 'Mary Anne' McNally. At the time this was to avoid confusion wi th other families of similar surname. So Tom was the son of Mary Anne. She is buried in an almost unmarked grave. IGI suggests father was Michael MacDonald, mother Katherine. May have had further children...Patrick claimed he was one of 12 and I have identified only 9....so these may be related Nora b1872...mGeorge Cartwright 1900 William b 1876 See 1910 census for Thomas, age 24. 108 years of age, she was the last survivor of the Great Famine.
