- Obituary:The Birmingham News, Friday, Oct.21 1938. Mrs. Freeman buried. Final Rites Conducted for Long time Resident of Ensley. Services for Mrs. Mary E. Freeman, 78 , a resident of Ensley more than 30 years, who died at the residence, 2306 Avenue I, Ensley, yesterday afternoon , were held this afternoon in Ridout’s Chapel, burial following in Elmwood Cemetery, the Rev. Dr. J.M. Broady and the Rev. L.M. Sparks officiating.
Four sons and a daughter survive. They are Charles L. Bransford, James H. Bransford and Guy H. Freeman, Birmingham, and Eugene E. Freeman, Winchester, KY., and Mrs. L.C. Norton, Birmingham. PS. Louis Cicero Norton was her son in law, her daughter's name is Ida Josephine Bransford. Babo
