Obituary

Mary E. Graham, 84, of Lake Wales, died of respiratory failure on Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at Lake Wales Medical Centers Extended Care Facility.

A native of Johnston City, Ill., she moved to the Lake Wales area 11 years ago from Mattawan, Mich. She was a retired accounts payable clerk for Gilmore's Department Store in Kalamazoo, Mich. She was of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Graham; a grandson, Timothy O'Brien; two sisters, Christina Decker and Grace Lockey; and a brother, Hubert Swift.

She is survived by her son, Robert E. Graham and wife, Marion, of Lake Wales; her daughter, Mary Diana O'Brien and husband, Terry, of Chicago; a sister, Lillian Loschetter, of Melbourne; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, with the Rev. Gilbert Rush officiating.
