Mrs. Mary C. Crumrine, age 80, died at 5:20 p.m. yesterday at her home, 139 Adrian street. Death was due to complications of old age hastened by an attack of gallstones. She was born at Pottsville, Pa., July 10, 1841, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Koch.
When six years old Mrs. Crumrine came to Illinois with her parents and later they moved to Cedar township, Black Hawk county, Ia. She was married to William Crumrine, June 12, 1856, in Waterloo. Mr. Crumrine died 20 years ago last Feb. 14 in Waterloo. She was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist church.
The following children survive: Mrs. Anna N. Neilsen, Waterloo; Miss Malinda J. Crumrine, Waterloo; Mrs. Hattie E. Turner, Washburn, Ia.; W. D. Crumrine, Waterloo; Emanuel Crumrine, Clarksville, Ark.; Mrs. Emma I. Isenhour, Waterloo; Hugh R. Crumrine, Waterloo. Other relatives surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Saloma Watson, Clarion, Ia., and Mrs. C. E. Wilcox, Waterloo, and one brother, William Koch, Florida.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m., at the residence, with Rev. D. I. Purser, Jr., pastor of Walnut Street Baptist church, in charge. Interment will be in Cedar township cemetery.
