Mary Jo Martin

Constantine, Mary Jo Martin, 60, of 200 Peachtree St., died at 3:23 p.m. Monday (Nov. 5, 2001) at Three Rivers Area Hospital

She was born on June 16, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, to William H. and Orpha Jane Tyler Kelly. She moved from Cassopolis to Kalkaska in 1985, then to Constantine in 1996.

Survivors include one daughter, Lora Martin of Constantine; two sons, Vernon W. Martin of Constantine and David Martin of Niles; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Ward of Dowagiac and Dorothy Kelly of Elkhart; and one brother, Louis Kelly of Dowagiac.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Connelly funeral Home, Cassopolis, where services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Kyle Gardner, pastor of Federated Church, Dowagiac, will officiate, and burial will be in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Sumnerville.

She was owner of a foster care home in Cassopolis until 1984.

Memorials may be given to Michigan Heart Association.
