Mary 'Polly' Kelley was born 17 Dec 1799, in Greene County, Tennessee, USA.[1]

Polly and David Reynolds married in 1817 and they lived in Greene County, Tennessee.[2] [3]

Polly, her husband, and children moved to "Pond Creek Township," in Greene County, Missouri, in 1835, where David was a First Settler. She was a member of the first Methodist congregation. And, in 1840, Polly and David had six children living with them.[4] [5] [6]

Polly, now Mary, lived in Greene County, Missouri, through the rest of her life. In 1850 she was age 48 and in 1860 age 60.[7] [8] She was widowed in 1869. After that she lived with their son, Jesse, and his family (also their son, Benton, was still with her).[9] Then Polly (Mary) lived with her daughter, Nancy.[10]

In 1883, the History of Greene County Missouri was published. Mary's husband, David, was mentioned.[11]

Mary Reynolds died in 1890 on July 4th. She is remembered in the Reynolds Cemetery, Republic, Greene County, Missouri, USA.[12] [13] [14]
