GROSS 

 Mary Jane Gross, 73, of Somerset, passed on June 14, 2003 at Patriot
 Manor.  Born Nov. 8, 1929 in Somerset, the daughter of Walter and Margaret
 (Caton) Judy.  Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Irvin Merle
 Gross in 1999; son, Ronald; brothers, Walter, Arthur, Ellwyn, Glenn, Jack
 and Robert and sisters, May Judy, Sara Reed, Evelyn Judy and Ruth Durst.
 Survived by her children, Thomas and Gary Gross, both of Somerset, and
 Gene, married to Marlene (Dublinsky) Gross of Philadelphia; grandchildren,
 who were raised by Mrs. Gross and her late husband, Rebecca, married to
 Richard Flyte of Somerset, and Thomas Gross and friend Debra Hauger of
 Pittsburgh; great-grandchildren, Michael and Megan Flyte of Somerset; and
 brother, James Judy of Brookfield, Ohio.  She was a member of Trinity
 Lutheran Church in Somerset where she was active in the Bible Study Group
 and the Bykota Circle, was a weekly offering collection clerk and served in
 the Altar Guild.
